GFI System: ROSSIE Filter - WAH (Manual) Filter demo
Global: https://www.gfisystem.com/rossie Australia: https://www.deluxeguitars.com.au/products/gfi-system-rossie GFI System's ROSSIE Filter features three types of filter - envelope, manual and step. Each type has six parameters you can tailor it with. Expression pedal and external tap tempo facilities are onboard as well as two recallable presets. The Rossie Filter is easy to use, sounds great and is a lot of fun. So if you want to get funky, get Rossie. This is my Manual as Wah Filter demo; basically an expression pedal controlled manual filter to sweep the frequency and create the wah effect. This video is sans chat to get the message across quickly and (hopefully) musically. Demos of the other Rossie filter types appear on this channel also. GFI System Orca Delay and Skylar Reverb
https://www.gfisystem.com/ The GFI System Skylar Reverb and Orca Delay share a powerful, yet easy to use form factor and that dishes out high quality time-based effects. Each pedal can be played in mono or stereo by using TRS cable on the input and ouput jacks. Seeing them side by side, the Skylar and Orca’s knobs and functionality are very similar, so if you learn one, the other is pretty much figured out! The 4 knobs are also switches all have multiple functions thanks to GFI’s familiar push, hold and twist commands. For example, the Orca’s 3 main parameters of Time, Repeats and Level are adjusted as normal but holding any knob down and turning (twist) adjusts secondary parameters like Wow & Flutter in Orca’s tape mode or EQ and pre-delay in Skylar’s Plate reverb mode. The 4th knob selects between the pedal’s 4 unique modes but also gets you a 4 secondary parameter when twisted or the Options and Global settings when tapped or held. Both of these menu pages aren’t super complicated and handle options such as tap tempo subdivisions in the Orca, audio path summing, and whether Tap tempo or A/B presets are the priority on the right footswitch. Back to the modes: the Skylar is loaded with Spatium, Shimmer, Plate and Tremble (a mix of tremolo and reverb). The Orca has a mix of modulated and pitch shifted echoes with Digital, Tape, Diffuse and Ambient. The LCD display show helpful information for dialing in parameters like delay or decay time, not to mention heel and toe values when an expression pedal is used or with the onboard ramp function. Much like an expression pedal, the momentary ramp gradually changes up to 3 primary parameters as long as you hold the footswitch. A perfect example would be morphing the feedback level or increasing the reverb decay to enhance specific parts. The GFI System Orca and Skylar get just deep enough to give you additional parameters and settings without detracting from the creative experience. If you’ve been looking for a Delay or Reverb with multi-modes and a couple presets without having to read a book first, the Orca and Skylar are just the ticket. Plus, they are built with high quality components and sound immense in stereo! GFI System Cabzeus MONO
Demo setup : Guitar -- Jonassus drive pedal -- Cabzeus Mono -- Audio interface. No additional post-processing, except some added reverb for some of the clean tone parts. Cabzeus MONO is a compact yet powerful speaker simulator + DI.Box pedal. It was developed as a single channel version of its stereo big brother, Cabzeus. Cabzeus Mono offers 12 Speaker algorithms modeled after the real-life counterparts, each algorithms has 4 variations (speaker size and cabinet type), for a total of 48 sounds to select from. Simple yet effective user interface lets you browse through the algorithm library and user presets with ease. The speaker simulation may be bypassed allowing you to use Cabzeus Mono as a straight forward DI Box. A headphone out with a dedicated volume control allows you to have a silent practicing session in the middle of the night. And to make your headphone listening experience more satisfying, despite only mono signal is available, we added a capability to insert an adjustable amount of short delay on the Right channel audio to widen the perceived stereo field.
The Specular Tempus: Almost Too Good To Be True
Even in a long 20 minute video, I had to pick and choose features to cover. If you're still on the fence, DO look into the additional functionality, as this little pedal is extremely versatile. All of the specs, editor software, and various guitar demos can be found on GFI's website: http://www.gfisystem.com/specular-tempus.html Timestamps!
