Solis Ventus (Latin: Sun & Wind) is a dual-engine Delay and Reverb that expands and improves on the their flagship Specular Tempus pedal. The whole library has been included and rebuilt from the ground up with a more powerful 32-bit ARM processor that now allows you to run two algorithms simultaneously. Choose from 15 Delays and 9 Reverb algorithms in series or parallel, ping-pong, stereo or dual mono and layer them all with a new 40 second looper. Looking at the fresh interface you’ll notice two touch sliders that instantly access the Mix but also tap into two new features: Crossover and a Dynamics Engine. When engaged, the Crossover splits the input signal into low and high-pass bands and sends one to each DSP. Secondly, the Dynamics Engine is a post effect that expands on the concept of ducking or gating but is applied to any algorithm you choose! Plus, flexible routing, two exp pedal options, tap tempo, MIDI and 96 presets let you easily control and re-create the magic at any time. Graphic EQ pedals are great, however if you want ultimate control over your EQ then nothing can quite sculpt your tone like a parametric EQ. Here are some of the ways I've been using mine. The GFI Enieqma is a deeply powerful programmable EQ and tone shaping tool. It features 3 EQ engines; Parametric, Simple (tilt, baxandall, amp tone stacks, etc...) and a Pulteq MEQ-5 emulation. Enieqma can be used in mono or stereo. In stereo, EQ settings can be linked or independent, meaning different settings can be applied to each channel. Enieqma also features limiting, stereo expansion, and an independent +15db boost. In this demo video we’ll put this powerful eq pedal to work in a full band context, bringing humbucker-like chunk to a Jazzmaster-style single-coil bridge pickup, acting as a parked wah for melodic sustaining passages, and adding heft and bite to a bass line.
